Today’s word, in association with the superlative Oxford English Dictionary, is

butyraceous (adj.)

(1) Of the nature of butter; buttery.
(2) Producing or containing butter.

Used in a sentence in 1870 by J.R. Lowell:

“If repugnance for having fine phrases take the place of butyraceous principle.”
